Printed books are delivered by courier to your chosen physical address. 


How long will it take to get my print books.

COVID has slowed deliveries for everyone.  The delivery times are location dependant. 

NZ: 2-4 days, 

Australia Metro: 4-6 days, 

Australian County: 6 -15 days. 

I’ve ordered books but not received them. What can I do?

Contact us by email or phone and we will run a track and trace on your parcel.


Track and trace says the books have arrived, but I haven’t seen them. What do I do?
Our books are sent out in their unmistakable green, rectangular boxes. They are hot property! We suggest you ask colleagues if they’ve seen/opened the box, check with the school administrator or secretary, and/or look under the odd pile of marking.



PDF eBooks are available via email or can be in your Filebox as downloadable PDF file links.


I’ve ordered a PDF ebook. How do I download it?

  • Downloading is simple. Log into your Essential Resources account and click Filebox. Your ebooks can be downloaded from your Filebox by clicking Download PDF File.
  • Save your PDF ebook to a safe place on your hard-drive or school server. Launch Adobe Reader and open your ebook or locate the file and double click on the icon.
  • To download and view Essential Resources PDF ebooks, you need to have the current version of Adobe Reader on your computer. If you don't have Adobe Reader, click here to get the latest version for free.

When I use Adobe Reader, there’s an error message. How do I fix it?

You may have an old version of Adobe Reader on your computer. To download the latest version for free, click here.

Can I return my PDF eBook after purchase?

As they are digital files, we cannot accept returns of eBooks. We recommend that you choose carefully and make full use of the Preview option for all books on their product page. If you would prefer, you can request a printed copy of the book on our 14-day right of inspection (schools and childcare centres only), then choose to return it and purchase the eBook.


VitalSource eBooks are available via email or a direct access link to the VitalSource Bookshelf Reader can be accessed in your filebox.


Can I return my VitalSource eBook after purchase?
